Fender Precision, olympic white, crafted in Japan 1997-00. These 1970 style P models are the coolest dang basses. It's got the bold CBS style logos and a classic black-on-white reverse tuxedo finish, a few dings and marks for your pleasure and radiates confidence. The neck on this has a 40mm nut, halfway between the standard P size of 42mm and a Jazz Bass style 38mm, so it's halfway between a standard J and P shape. That feels great, it's comfy and quick without being too slim, which paired with a moderately weighted well balanced body makes for an intuitive player. The USA pickup has a hint of brightness on the top end, bringing out the saucy midrange of alder body and translating the rounded, punchy low end nicely. This is a perfect players-grade Precision, you'll be pleasingly placated and playing pristine parts with purposeful pizzazz pronto.
