(ARCHIVE) Fender Player Series Precision Bass Tidepool 2019
- Description
- Guitarchives
Fender Player P, tidepool finish, made in Mexico 2019. Fender's Player Series replaced the Standard Series a year or two back, and the response to the updated models has generally been very positive. This is nicely put together and feels good in the hands; the satin finish neck is smooth and sweet. Plugged in, you get that thumping P low end and a nice warm attack; the maple board adds a little sharpness to the top end for definition. The 'tidepool' finish (not to be confused with the Tidepod Challenge) is a little lighter than the trad Lake Placid Blue, it's very appealing. This one is almost brand new with only a handful of playing hours, so if you were eying off a new one, nab this and you'll have some change with which to get yourself some new cowboy boots.
