(SOLD) Gibson Custom Shop R6 '56 Les Paul Goldtop VOS Left Handed 2011
Gibson R6 gold top, lefty model, made by the USA Custom Shop 2011. Oh boy, that's a nice Les Paul! If you're a southpaw on the hunt for your 'one and only' LP, this is surely your shot at glory. The quality of build and materials here is stellar. Every inch of the guitar oozes class and luxury; it's surely as good as you can get save for shelling out approximately ten times the price on an original 50s model. The creamy, juicy midrange of the P90 pickups is complemented by an open and articulate top end and a controlled, round bass. There's a certain 'thing' you can get out of this that humbuckers or standard single coils don't do; the magic is in the mids. There's not many of these in left handed kicking around, so if you need it, claim it and thank yourself for the next few decades.

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. Headstock is pretty clean. Neck has some very minor dimples on the back but is clean and smooth in the hands. The back has a couple of extremely light scuffs and dimples if you hold it in particular light, certainly nothing major. The sides have a couple of dimples on the shoulder, near the jack and on the bottom horn, again nothing major. The front is also nice and clean, just some barely-there dimples near the knobs, bridge pickup and on the lower horn, as well as some very light play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8.5/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. Frets have some minor wear, nothing major, 8/10 for fret life left. No headstock breaks or major repairs. Setup with fresh 10/52s Moonshiners strings.
