Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, lefty, made in USA 1979. You don't see that everyday! The LP Deluxe was a twist on the classic LP Standard with a pair of brighter sounding mini-humbuckers. The model went through a few changes over it's initial life of 1968-84, and this one sneaks in with some of the best specs: big 70s headstock, super stable 3-piece maple neck, non-pancake 2-piece unchambered mahogany body and a classic cherry sunburst finish over a spectacular piece of plain maple. It's held up remarkably well over the decades; the condition is pretty spectacular. The tone is all LP, but with a little spike of extra brightness to add some definition and attack; it's very tasty indeed. If you're after a killer vintage left LP that'll keep the feelings flowing, this surely will hit the mark.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. There's some minor nicks on the end of the headstock as well as some light checking lines starting to appear. Back of the neck is pretty clean, just some lacquer wear from play up near the join and on the binding (must've played Sweet Child too many times!) The back has some very light but widespread 'buckle rash'; there's a number of barely visible scratches and dimples. There's a few of dimples near the jack and knobs as well as some minor marks opposite that on the top shoulder side. The front is pretty clean, just some play wear on the guard and top horn and a peppering of very minor marks near the knobs and top edge up from the bridge. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets look good, there's minor wear only, 8/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 11/49s.
