(SOLD) Gibson SG Special T Satin Black 2017
Gibson SG Special T, black, made in USA 2017. What a looker! The cream-on-black combo is eye-catching, and paired with the 60s style mini-block inlays and gold top hat knobs, this looks the business. There's barely a mark on it too, despite these thin finishes tending to show marks pretty quickly. The body is remarkably lightweight, but it still balances nicely against the body. There's heaps of attack and punch in the tone, it's very immediate and perfect for punk chugs and big rhythm parts. The neck is a slim 60s style shape, with a traditional SG taper as you go up the neck... it's intuitive in the hands and doesn't make you work too hard to get your notes out. It'll look good with your matching tux, right?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has no major marks. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor glossing from play only. The back has a few tiny dimples around the body, mostly near the back edge, as well as some light scuffs in the middle, no major marks. The sides have a couple of dimples near the knobs. The front has a couple of light scuffs near the knobs and some minor play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good. Frets have very little wear, 9/10 for fret life left. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
