(SOLD) Greco EJR-82D TV White 2010
Greco EJR-82D, TV white finish, made in Japan circa 2010. Oh boy, this is so cool. In the early 2010s, Greco were doing a little line of Junior style guitars, built by of the Fujigen Gakki factory and finished in these cool TV-style open-pore finishes. They're increasingly tricky to find, so I was pleased to score this one. The build is awesome: perfect frets, an arrow-straight neck with a dark-choc rosewood board, immaculate finish work... it adds up perfectly in the hands and feels very alive. Not all Gibson USA LP Junior examples boast the kind of lively responsiveness and precise fit and finish this offers, it's a really superb guitar. Plugged-in, it's a screamer, no doubt. The Hotliner soapbar delivers a classic P-90 balance of sweet, singing highs and creamy, juicy lows and mids. It loves a cranked overdriven amp, but with the volume and tone rolled off a little, it has an appealing eloquence clean tone too. There's a whole lot to love here, and yep... I love it.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has no major marks. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor glossing from play only. The back has no major marks. The sides have a few dimples near the jack. The front has a little dent in the top horn and some standard play scratches on the guard and horns. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. The frets have minor wear only, 9/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
