Greco RG750B, made in Japan 1977. This is Greco's take on the short scale Rickenbacker 320, a very similar model to John Lennon's preferred Ric 325, but without the tremolo. It hails to the early part of Greco's 'golden age' from the mid 70s to the mid 80s where their incredibly consistent build quality was earning them a legion of fans and a dash of legal trouble. As such, this feels brilliant... it really oozes mojo. The medium scale and slim neck mean the feel is slinky and easy; you're never working too hard. The done has a lot of natural bass and thump, but the maple body means there's a certain hi-fidelity 'ping' on tap that cuts through nicely. The pickups are pretty low on noise and once you get used to the switching, there's a lot of tonal options at your disposal. These Ric-style Grecos are increasingly scarce and sought after, so you're you're after a supremely cute little gig machine with 40+ years of stories and magic, add this to your quiver and thank yourself for a few decades to come.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. There's a couple of minor scuffs on the end of the headstock. Neck is pretty clean, just a couple of dimples right up near the join. The back looks pretty good, just a few very minor scratches around the place concentrated mostly on the bottom edge. Sides have a few scuffs: on the top side in the shoulder area, on the back near the strap pin, on the bottom side near the jack. The front is looking good, just some dimples around the bridge and knobs and some light play scratches on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8.5/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. The frets are in pretty good shape, 7/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 11/49s.
