(SOLD) Gretsch G5655T-QM Electromatic Center Block Jr. Sweet Tea 2022
Gretsch G5655T-QM, sweet tea, made in China 2022. Nice quilt top on this one! This is part of Gretsch's Centre Block series, so it's a bit of a departure from their standard Jet and Nashville models; it's a small size thinline semi-hollow. First up, it sounds good: I've not been sold on that many of the newer low-mid priced Gretsch offerings, but this genuinely pleasantly surprised me. It's warm and clear, balanced and tuneful with a great balance of body and chime. The body is small and comfy, not too far from a Les Paul in shape but super lightweight... that'll work. The sunburst-ish finish is classy too, it looks great. Comes with the hard case you'd normally pay a decent bit for separately.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has some minor scuffs on the back. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has minor scuffs in the middle of the body, top horn and elbow area. The sides have a couple of dimple near the jack. The front has some dimples in the elbow area and near the knobs and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 9/10, minor wear only
