Hofner Verythin Standard CT, Olive Green, made in China 2013. Hofner have long made good stuff; these Verythin models debuted in the 1960s and enjoy a good rep to this day. The Contemporary Series stuff is made in China to a respectable standard and delivers the classic German recipe for affordable bucks. It's fun to play: the neck is slim and quick, the body is lightweight, and it holds tune nicely even with the Bigsby. The pickups deliver a woody, bluesy growl with a percussive attack and a chirpy top end. You've dreamed of a guitar that's painted up in Shrek Green, right?

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has scuffs on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has scuffs in the elbow area and bottom corner. The sides have minor scuffs around the whole body. The front has dimples around the tailpiece and knobs and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 11/49 strings.
