Ibanez LP Custom style, black, made in Japan 1973. This guitar has had some adventures in it's time... it's got the scars to show it! Not much of the original hardware remains, but the original body and neck still provide a very solid backbone. The neck is slim with a pretty flat board, solidly bolted on as was customary on these early Ibanez models; it's very easy to get along with. The pickups are a pair of Gibson 490 humbuckers; they're moderately hot and translate a whole lot of growl and snap through to the amp nicely. If you're after a cool vintage riff machine that'll happily collect more dings or a handy platform for your modding adventures, this is surely a well beaten little beast that's up for a good time.

Model: Ibanez 2350 (heavily modded, best estimate)
Made: 1973, Japan (best estimate, serial 73009C)
Finish: gloss black
Body: maple top, mahogany body, sandwich construction
Neck: mahogany with rosewood board, 24.75" scale, 12" radius
Weight: 3.955kg
Mods: tuners replaced (more than once, extra holes visible), strap pins replaced, bridge and tailpiece replaced, pickups replaced, knobs replaced, nut replaced, truss cover replaced, pickguard removed (extra guard holes drilled at some point)
Pickup: Gibson 490R/T humbucker set
Case: none

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. Headstock has some chips on the end and around some of the poles as well as some extra holes from previous tuners and some scuffs on the back and front. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, just some minor dimples on the back. The back has a chip near the electronics cover, the serial carved into the paint near the neck plate, as well as widespread minor scuffs and dimples. The sides have a few minor marks: dimples and scuffs on both horns and near the jack, some small chips and scuffs on the shoulder and a chip around the rear strap pin. The front has some extra holes from since removed pickguards, scratches near the knobs, bottom horn and near the bridge, as well as some scuffs and dimples on the shoulder and play scratches above and below the strings. Overall: good condition (6.5/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. Frets have some normal wear inc the start of some pitting, but they're fairly even with plenty of height and don't need immediate attention; 6/10 for fret life left. Setup with fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
