Ibanez ART100, silver metallic, made in China 2007-9. In another life, I worked at a shop that sold a heap of Ibanez guitars, and these ART100s always flew off the shelves at record speeds. It's basically a Les Paul style, but with a slightly slimmer body with a belly carve on the back, a simplified V/V/T electronics setup and a tribal tat on the 12th fret. The neck is a bit of a halfway point between a regular 'Slim 60s' style Gibson profile and a wide/thin RG-esque profile, and it's pretty easy to get along with. The stock pickups are fairly moderate in output, so they clean up happily but also enjoy a healthy dose of gain for djug-djugging purposes. The finish was once a vibrant silver, but it's yellowed to a tasty champagne hue, which will surely pop perfectly under stage lights. Ibanez has always delivered impressively consistent build quality, so even though this is pretty affordable, it still feels like a good quality instrument. Handy!

The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only, no major marks. The back has some light scuffs and dimples around the outside of the body as well as a few in the middle, no major marks. The sides are pretty clean, just some tiny dimples in the elbow area and near the jack. The front is pretty clean, just a few scuffs in the elbow area and some minor play wear on the horns. Overall: very good condition (8/10).

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have minor wear only, 8/10 for fret life left. Wearing fresh 10-52 strings.
