Ibanez JTK1 Jet King, red burst, made in Indonesia 2003. The Jet King line was a tribute to Ibanez' early guitars; those sweet pawnshop finds with weird body shapes and a heap of charm. This was the first version of the model, so it's got the cute little horns and aluminium guard and the 60s-style switches to split the pickups. The tone is a lot of fun: the humbuckers are perfect for angry riffs and stanky rhythm parts, or with the splits engaged, you get a bright and jangly jag-style jangle. Being an Ibanez, it's got a very sturdy and fast playing neck; it's a nice little pragmatic punk machine. The burst finish looks very tasty, it hits the manga-esque angles just right. These were only made for a couple of years, so if you've had room for one in your heart, take this one home now as they're not getting any more common.

The front is pretty clean, just a couple of dimples behind the bridge and some light play wear on the guard and top horn. Overall: very good condition (8.5/10).
