The controls give huge scope: it can go super fast or super slow, really deep or shallow etc. The feedback control sends the signal back through the effect for another round, so it adds depth and presence to the phasing as you wind it up. Plus, there's the cute push-them-in-to-save-knocking-them controls. Cool as.
