Ibanez RG350DX White 1999

Ibanez RG350DX, white, made in Korea 1999. In the early 2010s, I used to work in a shop that sold a bunch of Ibanez guitars. The biggest seller was a long running model by the name of the RG350DX... and you'll never guess why. It's because: they're good. This has a zoomy neck, balanced comfy body, sturdy hardware and feels like it was made on purpose with plenty of care. The pickups have been swapped for some Epiphone hums, which deliver a bit more low end fatness and midrange punch. It's still got that Ibanez thing though: smooth, full and balanced, with great detail on the highs and mids. The aged pearl guard is a snazzy touch, it looks great. It's a nice thing.

Model: Ibanez RG350DX
Made: 1999, South Korea
Serial: C7120201
Finish: white, gloss poly
Body: basswood
Neck: maple, rosewood fretboard, 16" radius, 25.5" scale, slim flat shred D style shape

Cosmetic Condition Notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and bottom edge, scuffs on the back and some fading on the front. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and some rub wear on the back only. The curved heel join has three cracks in the finish, as best I can tell they're not a structural crack in the wood, but this kind of finish crack was common on this era of RGs with the curved heel. The back has dimples around the neck join and belly carve, dimples and dents in the elbow area and back edge, and scuffs along the bottom side, belly carve and around the cavity. The sides have minor scuffs around the whole body as well as some dimples on the elbow area and near the jack. The front has dimples in the elbow area, scuffs in elbow area, behind the bridge and near the knobs and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: Good Condition (7/10)

Playing Condition Notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 7/10
