(ARCHIVE) Maxon AD-80 Analog Delay Pedal 1980
- Description
- Guitarchives
The Maxon AD80 launched in 1979, notably before the Boss DM-2 and very, very early in the compact stompbox scheme of things. It's driven by the legendary MN3205 bucket brigade chip, as also found in a DM2, Deluxe Memory Man and all the other classic analog delays from this era. It's a little warmer than a DM-2, offering superb juicy, rounded and slightly crunchy repeats. These list for a small fortune sometimes, so nab yourself an absolute classic for a sensible dollar while it's going. Maxon: the heroes we deserve.
