The Orange Dual Dark has been discontinued for several years now, so getting one is getting trickier and they're starting to fetch real cash. It dates to the time when Orange's goodstuff was made in UK, with premium guts and a certain magic in the tone department to boot. For a 100w valve head, it's pretty good at low volumes, owing to the half power switch and built in attenuator. But, you're presumably gonna buy it to turn it up, right? You'll be rightly rewarded: rich, thick, complex midrange with singing sustain and rich harmonics and a low end that's as tight and thick as a meatshake. If you've been after one, you'll know this is a bargain, so join the dark side now.
