Rama Guitars lefty SG style, made in Australia mid 1980s, natural gloss. Rama Guitars are surrounded in a bit of mystery, but here's what we seem to know: two gents, Barry and Leon, left Maton and started building their own guitars in Perth. They were all made by hand and used some pretty tasty hardware. This one is blessed with a set of late 60s Gibson mini-humbuckers, an early Badass Bridge and some tasty Schaller tuners. The body is made of high grade African mahogany and looks beautiful. The Queensland maple neck features some beautiful figuring and is set very deep into the body; the block reaches the bridge pickup. The neck is a slim, rounded profile that will feel familiar to fans of Maton Mastersound necks; it's easy to get along with. The tone is heaps of fun: growly, chiming and snappy with heaps of midrange grit and a punchy attack. This one ships with a hefty flightcase and is surely a quirky little piece of Australian guitar making history. Tight!
