Suhr Classic Pro Sunburst 2018
Suhr Classic Pro, sunburst, made in USA 2018. There's very frew production guitars made these days that are as consistently impressive as Suhr. This one is an understated take on the classis S genre, and it's very impressive. The neck is a medium C style shape, on the fat side if anything, and blessed with stainless frets and a compound radius, so it has that Suhr-slickness up and down the whole neck. The pickups are great too: hi-fi clarity paired with a weighty, piano-like bass response from the single coils, and a creamy, complex smooth growl from the humbucker. The SSCII system eliminates the hum from the neck and middle pickups, and the balance of output between the H and the SS is really exemplary. The finish is classy: the burst looks slick and the alder grain on show is very pretty. This is one of those 'one and done' pro players' guitars: it's probably all you need for just about anything.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has scuffs on the end and some dimples on the bottom edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and rub wear on the back only. The back has dimples on both horns and the belly carve and some scuffs along the back edge and bottom corner. The sides have minor dimples around the whole body, as well as some scuffs in the elbow area. The front has dimples around the jack, back edge and elbow area and some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: excellent condition (9/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
