(SOLD) Supro Jamesport Jet Black 2017
Supro Jamesport, black, made in Indo 2016. Scandinavians... they're annoyingly good at everything, right? Here we have the updated 21st century take on Supro's classic Ozark model from the 60s. You get a cute bevelled alder body, paired with a set maple neck and a cute trapeze tailpiece with a TOM bridge. The body is lovely and light, so between that and the fairly slim neck and simple setup, it's a whole lot of effortless fun to play. The real highlight is the pickup: it's a pretty accurate replica of the original 60s Supro Gold Foil single coil. It's overwound like a P-90, so you get a whole lot of attack and a creamy, full midrange, but there's a certain sweetness and openness through the top end you don't get with a standard soapbar. The styling is superb too, the black-on-black hits all those quirky curves just right. If you're fond of LP and SG Juniors but enjoy a bit of Swedish swagger, this one is for you.

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. Headstock has some minor scuffs on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The back has widespread very light scuffs, no major marks though. The sides are pretty clean, just some dimple near the jack. The front is also nice and tifdy, just some standard play wear on the guard and horns. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. Frets have minor wear only, 9/10 for life left. Setup with fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
