Tokai LS75Q, dark cherry, made in Japan 1998. What a beauty! Tokai's Love Rock models kicked off in the late 70s, and enjoy a reputation as some of the finest LP-style offerings ever made in Japan. This is a late-90s example, sporting a gorgeous quilt maple top wearing a rich dark burst finish. There's no pickguard on this mode, and with the uncovered Zebra pickups... gorgeous. The pickups are Seymour Duncan Custom Shop PAF-style humbuckers, and they sound awesome. The neck is clear and expansive with a bell-like treble and a weighty low end kick. The bridge pickup is earthy and rich, with a great balance of midrange poke and creamy fatness. The neck is a medium C type shape, reasonably slim but not super skinny, and it feels great. This sounds and feels every bit as good as it looks, and that's saying something.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has a dent on the end and some scuffs and clouding on the front. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back and binding only. The back has a dent on the back edge near the control cavity and some scuffs in the middle and elbow area. The sides have dimples on the top horn and some scuffs in the elbow area and near the jack. The front has minor scuffs in the elbow area and near the knobs and play wear on the horns.
Overall: very good condition (8.5/10)

Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 Moonshiners strings.
