Godin SD in surf green, 24 fret model. This is a very cool guitar! If you like the playability and tonal options of a Strat, but find the bridge pickup a bit bright, you'll love this. The bridge humbucker has a creamy, smooth sound with a moderate output, it doesn't overpower the single coils. We installed a push/pull on the tone knob to split the bridge pickup to a single coil for extra versatility. Built in the USA in 1997 from top notch Canadian parts, these SD models offer great build quality and playability at a fraction of the price of a USA Fender or Gibson with similar specs. The neck is slim and nicely rounded, combined with the comfy 24.75" scale, this is a very easy player. The gaudy surf green finish is set off nicely by the gold hardware and pearl pickguard, it's got a classy look. If you're after something that'll handle a whole bunch of different styles with ease, this is a great option.

Cosmetic condition notes: Some normal cosmetic wear, nothing nasty. There's a few dings and scratches around the body, including some buckle-rash on the back. The finish on the neck is pretty thin and has worn down with play over the years. Gold hardware has aged and tarnished, and there's some oxidation on some of the screws holding the pickguard in place. Overall: good condition.

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good. The fingerboard extends past the neck, and the last 1cm has very slightly bent down towards the body; not enough to create issues on playing the 24th fret. The slim rock maple neck is extremely sturdy and rigid, it feels excellent in the hand allows a very low action. Great player that'll easily handle a heap of different styles. Recently been through a Topshelf setup with fresh 10/46s.
