Used Yamaha Lord Player in tobacco sunburst, made in Japan 1984. This is one of Yamaha's earlier Lord Player models, they only popped up in 1983 as a more luxurious Japan-only update on the earlier Studio Lords. Yamaha changed a few things, so you get some nice additions: legit mahogany body, one piece mahogany neck, vintage Gibson style tuners, the more audacious open-book style headstock. The burst finish on this has aged gracefully; you can see the slight 'ripple effect' where the lacquer has soaked into the grain from certain angles. It has that big, full, bright tone and loves a big bend. As is typical of Yamaha Gibson-style guitars of this era, the build quality is exceptional, everything is spot-on. The sound, look and feel of this LP is very classy and will keep some very expensive guitars honest. You don't see many in Australia, so grab this one quickly!

Cosmetic condition notes: A handful of minor marks, but all-in-all, very clean condition for it's age. Basically just a few little nicks here and there, you have to look pretty closely. Cream plastic parts have aged to a nice vintage look, and the chrome has aged mildly bit but looks pretty good. Overall condition: good to excellent.
Playing condition notes: Playing nicely! Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good. Frets have been played but wear is fairly minimal. Feels great, sounds big, looks the part!
