Yamaha AES-820 D6 Baritone, black, made in Taiwan circa 2003. All hail the chungus! This 'Drop 6' model was available briefly in the early 2000s, blessed with a 26.25" scale neck and tuned B-to-B by default. A previous owner dropped in a set of tasty John Birch humbuckers, so this really packs a lot of punch. You get a three way switch and a volume for each pickup, as well as a three way rotary tone switch on the last knob. That allows for single-coil-ish twang or growly humbucking chonking; the variation on offer is a lot of fun. The longer neck takes a bit of getting used to, but once you're in the zone, it's comfy in the hands and easy to get along with. The Sperzel tuners and chunky bridge do a lot of good holding those low tunings steady too. Yes, can confirm, does djent.
