Aria Pro II TA900 Black 1991
Aria Pro II TA-900, black, made in Japan 1991-2. We love a good MIJ semi-hollow around here, and this one is surely a good one. This model borrows some construction elements from the iconic Gibson 335, including a laminate thinline maple body with a centre block and a mahogany neck, but also features the quirky angled Aria headstock and a superb slim neck profile. It's very light for a guitar in this genre, which translates to a sprightly, defined tone with a plenty of attack to balance the natural warmth and body on offer. We had a minor crack in the back repaired by our preferred local pro, have a look at the notes and pics below. The black finish radiates class and surely complements the luxurious tone perfectly. All in all: lovely.
Model: Aria Pro II TA900
Made: Japan, 1991/2 (serial 890340)
Finish: gloss black
Body: laminate maple with centre block
Neck: mahogany, rosewood board, 12" radius, 24.75" scale

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. Headstock has a couple of minor marks on the end. Neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples on the back only. The back has some minor scuffs around the body as well as a patch of finish that appears smudged from a crack repair; the crack is visible from the other side in the photo of the sticker inside the F-hole but has been professionally repaired by our preferred local luthier. The sides are pretty clean, just some dimples on the shoulder and around the jack. The front is in great shape, just some minor dimples on the shoulder and near the knobs and some light play scratches on the guard and horns. Overall: good condition (7/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, intonation is good, action is low, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have mior wear only, 8/10 for fret life left. Setup with fresh 11/49 Moonshiners strings.
