Bacchus Craft Series BLS-JR Arctic White 2019
Bacchus Craft Series BLS-Jr, arctic white, made in Japan 2019. Bacchus fans tend to be very devoted; they make such beautiful guitars. The Craft Series instruments are all made by hand by a small team in Japan to an incredible standard. This one is referencing the iconic Gibson Les Paul Special, so it's got a tasty compensated wraparound bridge anda pair of P90 single coils. Plugged in, oh boy, it sounds superb. Heaps of chime and brilliance through the top end, super defined screaming warm mids and a fat, warm bass... so good. The neck is a nice slim round 60s style profile, it's comfy and easy to get along with and balances perfectly against the lightweight mahogany body. I didn't realise when I bought this just how new it was, it could basically pass for brand new, so that's a tasty treat. These seldom come up for sale outside Japan so claim this gorgeous riff monster while it's around.
