Bacchus Woodline Ash 5, black oil, made in Japan 2010. This is awesome, we love these around here. The Woodline is Bacchus' updated modernised take on the Jazz Bass genre,: JB, but with a faster, flatter neck, an access heel join, chunky super stable hardware, house-made pickups and a classy stain-and-oil finish over a gorgeous ash body. As is always the case with Japan-made Bacchus stuff, the woodwork is top notch: everything in it's place, amazing timber selection, great finish work... super classy stuff. The neck feels fantastic in the hand, and the response is nice and even across all the strings and up and down the whole board, The pickups are a slightly hot take on the vintage sound, and there's a push/pull switch that sends both pickups straight to the jack for a handy little passive boost. This is more convincing to the ears and hands than many USA made instruments at twice the dollars, it's very good indeed.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor dimples and some glossing from play only. The back has rub wear along the belly carve, elbow area and bottom horn, dimples along the back edge and bottom horn and some surface scratches and buckle rash in the middle of the body. The sides have dimples on the top horn, dents and dimples in the elbow area, some rub wear and dimples near the jack and on the bottom horn. The front has some dimples behind the bridge, rub wear in the elbow area and some scuffs on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)

Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 45/130 Rotosound strings.
Fret Life: 7/10, minor wear only
