Blitz by Aria Pro II 'Leopard' BLP-SLP Black 2014
Blitz by Aria BLP-SLP, made in Korea 2014 (I think!), gloss black. The 'Blitz' brand is a little offshoot of Aria, only really marketed in Japan and offering simple Gibson style stuff. This has pretty obviously taken it's inspiration from a Les Paul Special; hence the two P90-style pickups and tune-o-matic and stoptail bridge combo. It's nicely put together: tidy frets, nice finish work, reasonable quality hardware etc. The pickups crank out a thick, juicy warm growl with a nice open top end; if you're after that soapbar sound, this certainly does the trick. The black on black finish is super slick; this certainly looks classier than it ought for the dollars involved. This shreds a lot of more recognisable brands for feel and tone, so if you're after a handy riffmonster, this will surely do it.
