(ARCHIVE) Boss DM-2 Delay Pedal MIJ 1983
- Description
- Guitarchives
The DM-2 was the first compact delay pedal ever made, launching in 1981. To get the bucket brigade chip at the centre of the design to produce a then-very-long 300ms of delay, the signal had to have the frequency response limited, resulting in the warm, gooey, full and natural tone these pedals are so sought after for. All other analog delays are measured against this pedal, it certainly spawned generations of imitators. This one is in pretty tidy shape, the original label is still attached under the velcro (wasn't game to remove it!) and it sounds absolutely magical. Plus, it's very unlikely to go down in value, is it?
