The HM-2 is perhaps the most scoffed-at/adored distortion on the internet. The Hyper Metal was the model that superseded that, so it's got the same controls (just dime them all, of course) but with a slightly more 'modern' edge to the tone. All in all, it'll still do the church burning, neopaganist Norwegian black metal tone, but for around a third the price of it's slightly older brother. Brutal etc.
