Burny RSG-60 '69, wine red, made in China 2020. Burny is an offering of Japanese guitar giants Fernandes, mostly offering Gibson-inspired models to the domestic market. This is a 2020 model, and you can still get brand new ones. The build on it is awesome: it's lightweight but well balanced, the fretwork is tidy, the hardware is sturdy, it holds tune, and the finish has a certain depth and majesty to it in the flesh. The neck is fairly slim, not tiny but definitely in the quick and slick genre, which feels great to me. The poor thing copped a knock at some point, so our excellent local tech has done a headstock repair and it's all in tip-top tidy shape; note that the price has been set a little lower than it might otherwise to account for the repair. But how does it sound, you ask? It's a smooth, warm, tasty time. There's a certain gooeyness to this one that's rare on an SG, it's still got that growl and attack to it, but with a warmth and body paired with a sweetness on the top end that makes everything sound a bit juicier. It looks good in the photos, but it looks even better in the flesh.

The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no other major marks. The back has some dimples in the middle of the body. The sides have no major marks. The front has some light play wear on the guard and top horn and some light scuffs near the knobs. Overall: good condition (7/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, both truss rods work. The frets have minor wear only, 9/10 for fret life left. Electronics all tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 45/105 Moonshiners strings.
