Duesenberg Starplayer Special Fiesta Red 2005
Duesenberg Starplayer Special, fiesta red, made in Germany 2005. This is a party starter, no doubt about it. The Starplayer Special (let's call it SPSP yeah?) is the stripped down version of the cult-favourite Starplayer TV, and it's quite a different beast in many ways. It's got a solid alder body, bolt-on maple neck, two Grand Vintage humbuckers and a Gibson style hardtail bridge. It all adds up to a heap of stanky, bright, thick rock and roll tone with a great balance of slice and midrange grunt. The precision of build quality and intuitive neck shape make it an easy player; no messing around and you're making a ruckus. Plus, there's the neo art deco styling that Duesenberg do so well; this will surely look good on stage. Heaps cool aye.
