Edwards E-FV-120D Black 2010
Edwards Flying V style, black, made in Japan 2010. Vexingly vivacious! Edwards is the vintage-style brand under the ESP umbrella, offering Fender and Gibson style models to the local Japan market that are executed with a lot of care and sold at pretty agreeable prices. We've had plenty of their excellent LP style guitars through, but this is the first V we've had: vuck yeah. Once you get your hands around it, it's easy to play: great fret and finish work, comfy slim 60s style neck, well balanced with a strap, great access up the neck... awesome. The factory Duncans bring the goods too: fat, creamy, thick and snappy, with a great balance of clarity and body. These pop up very seldom in these parts, so hey: vhy not?

Cosmetic Condition Notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor scuffs on the back front around the tuners. Thee neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear only. The back has widespread light scuffs around the whole body, no major marks though. The sides have scuffs along the top and back sides and some dimples and rub wear on the bottom side. The front has scuffs near the jack and on the bottom point, scuffs along the back edge and around the tailpiece, surface scratches on the top point and some play wear on and around the guard.
Overall: very good condition (7.5/10)
Playing Condition Notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/52 strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
