(SOLD) Edwards E-SE-93R Sunburst 2008
Edwards E-SE-93R Strat style, sunburst, made in Japan 2008. If you're not familiar, Edwards is the arm of ESP guitars that offers high quality vintage inspired models, largely Fender and Gibson styles, mostly to the domestic Japan market. This is one if their high end beauties, and it's a very nice thing indeed. Specs wise, this is deluxe: nitro topcoat finish, steel block trem bridge, Kluson deluxe tuners, Seymour Duncan pickups, deluxe electronics with the 'Gilmour' style seven way switching all on a crisp two piece alder body. To get specs like this on a Fender, you've got to go to an American Original series, and even then, the parts here are better quality... this punches well above it's price point. It's a lovely thing in the hands. The lacquer finished smooth satin neck is a thing of beauty, slick and quick in the hands and conducive to quick lead playing with it's tall frets and flat radius. The tone is classic Strat, but with a certain hi-fidelity crispness and fat bottom end you don't get on a lesser guitar. It's hard to go wrong with a sunburst Strat, so go even further 'right' with a super deluxe extra lush one!

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. Headstock has some minor marks on the end. Neck is clean and smooth in the hands, no major marks. The back has no major marks, just some widepspread light scuffs and surface scratches as the finish is soft. The sides have a few marks: dimples on the top horn and shoulder, scuffs near the jack and dimples on the bottom horn. The front is pretty clean, just some scuffs on the top horn and behind the bridge and some play wear on the guard and horn. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets have very little wear, 9/10 for fret life left. Setup with fresh 10/46 Mooonshiners strings.
