Epiphone LP Gothic, made in Korea 2004. I'm increasingly found of these late-90s to early 00s Korean made Epiphone guitars, they're great. The 'Gothic' take on the LP Studio got a cool negative logo, Ozzy-ish cross decal on the headstock and a 'XII' inlay on the 12th fret, as well as black hardware and an all-over satin black finish. It's a great look, and with a little bit of rub wear around the edges, this really oozes stoner doom street cred. The body being a whisker thinner than a regular LP Standard increases the snappiness of the tone a bit, which is especially fun on the neck pickup: it's bright and lively a tasty balance of beefy bass and sweet treble. The bridge pickup demands some dirt but brings plenty of djug-djug fun when you get it dialled. Let your inner emo kid out, right?
