Epiphone Trailer Park Troubadours Airscreamer Silver 2003
Epiphone Airscreamer, made in Korea 2003. The Airstream Travel Trailer first appeared in 1936, with it's distinctive polished, riveted aluminium body designed to reduce wind resistance and therefore increase fuel economy. They really kicked off in the 50s in the American postwar economic boom, and became somewhat of an icon. This model was a signature for the comedy rock act Trailer Park Troubadours, launching at Summer NAMM in 2003. It plays pretty nicely: the neck is similar to the LP Standard models of the time, and it's surprisingly comfy to hold. The EMG HZ pickups are passive, but still super hot and heavy, so this offers up a wailing, hard rock voice with plenty of fat bass and squealing highs. This is a pretty unhinged offering, but surely for the right home, it's frightfully perfect.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has dimples on the end and some scuffs on the front around the posts as well a a chip near the A tuner on the bass edge. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor scuffs on the back only. The back has dimples around the neck join and elbow area. The sides have dimples on the top horn and elbow area. The front has minor scuffs around the bridge, dimples in the elbow area and some play wear around the strings.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret Life: 8/10, minor wear only
