Fender '57 Reissue Stratocaster Sonic Blue 2010/11

Fender Japan '57 Reissue Strat, super smooth sonic blue, made in Japan 2010-11. This really does look ace; sonic blue is such a perfect finish on a Strat. It's more common on the '62 style rosewood-board models, so sonic blue and maple board is a pretty rare (and killer) combo. The classic 'twang' is there; the spank and cut is nicely balanced with heaps of body and creamy mids. The neck is a moderate C-profile, it;s instantly familiar and super smooth in the hands. The condition is superb, this could basically pass for new at first glance. This is a real stunner, and she won't let you down!

Model: Fender Stratocaster, '57 Reissue (ST57)
Made: Japan, 2010-11 (serial U031046)
Finish: sonic blue (SBL), 1-ply white guard
Body: basswood
Weight: 3.2kg
Neck: maple with maple board, dot inlays
Mods: none
Pickups: Fender Japan ST Single
Case: basic gig bag

Cosmetic condition notes: Negligible finish wear. If you get right up close, you might find the occasional dimple or scratch on the body. There's some play-wear on the guard, but not much. Chrome is all shiny and beautiful. Overall: excellent condition (9/10).

Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. Frets have been played, but the wear is almost non-existent, 9/10. Slick!
