Fender Japan '57 Strat, vintage white, 1989-90. This is a creamy, smooth, custardy little delight... it's the guitar equivalent of a delicious vanilla slice. The neck features a beautifully grained piece of maple, it's really quite stunning, especially up towards the headstock. The board has aged gloriously to a sweet golden hue; it's aged very gracefully and has that unbeatable played-in feeling. Vintage white is one of the most universally applauded finish on a Strat, and this one has yellowed beautifully to a buttery cream colour; there's nothing quite like 30 years of careful play to make a finish like this pop. The tone is classic-Strat: bright, sparkly, immediate and articulate. If you're after an easy player with a whole stack of vintage charm, this is surely a perfect option.

There's a few light, small scratches on the front: mostly in the shoulder carve area and a couple near the jack. The bottom edge around from the knobs has a couple of little dents. The back has some light scuffs and scratches in the 'buckle rash' zone, and a couple of little dings on the bottom edge. Nothing major really. Overall: very good condition (8/10).
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have minor wear only, 8/10 for life left. Wearing fresh 10/46s. Creamy, dreamy!
