Fender Japan '62 Jazz Bass, capri orange, crafted in Japan 1997-00. Wow, that's very orange! This finish is one of those non-catalog anomalies that pops up every now and again; it's a bold and gregarious colour that's sure to ignite a lot of love (and a little hate, for good measure!) amongst the masses. Aside from the rare finish, this has a lot going for it: it's light, the neck is supremely smooth and agreeable, it's evenly balanced and really is an absolute breeze to play. That leads to an open, bright tone; you're never working too hard, so the nuances of your playing are free to show forth. This has a particular youthful charm; it's very fun to play. If you're tickled by an orange J, don't wait; this is literally the only one we've ever managed to score thus far. Instant sunshine!
