Fender P Bass, crafted in Japan 99-02, vintage white. This is a luxurious higher-model P, so you get the tasty stiff: alder body, US pickups, spiral saddle bridge. It all adds up so nicely in the hands. The body is responsive and resonant, the neck is comfortable and extremely well made, the tone is warm, fat and thick. The vintage white finish started life as off-white, it's now a sweet buttery cream that pops perfectly against the tort guard and rosewood board. This is superbly classy in looks, tone and feel... there's really not much a good P can't do, and this is certainly a good one.
