(SOLD) Fender '62 Reissue Stratocaster Quilt Maple Yellow Lime Burst 2013
Fender '62 Strat, limited edition quilt maple top in 'yellow lime burst', made in Japan 2013. Wow, that's not your average finish! The quilt maple top on this babe has a lot of depth and majesty, it's dead-set-outrageous and highly awesome. These were a limited edition in 2013, and they can fetch pretty outrageous prices when they very-occasionally pop up. This has the classic slim neck that's so easy to play, and the alder body really brings a sweet fullness and balance to the tone. It really backs up the outrageous looks with heaps of sweet, glassy, ping in the tone... Strat goodness. The condition is remarkable, there's brand new guitars sitting in shops in worse shape than this. Upon arrival, this was dubbed 'The Lizard Strat', so if you're a secretly part of the reptilian elite that's taking over the world, this one is for you!

Cosmetic condition notes: negligible finish wear. There's a couple of tiny dimples and scratches on the body, barely a mark on it really. Amazingly tidy! Overall: excellent condition (9.5/10)
Playing condition notes: Neck is straight, action is low, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Frets looks basically unplayed, can't really see any wear, 10/10. Very satisfying in the hands!
