Fender Strat '62 Reissue, Custom Edition series, transparent green with gold hardware. The Custom Edition series hit the Fender Japan catalog in 1993, they were a rowdy bunch of unusual shapes as well as some non-vintage finish options on classic models. They're not common, especially outside of Japan. This one is a funky twist on the '62 Strat, with a lively green stain and gold hardware to make you question everything about how a Strat should look. It looks amazing; especially now it has a few miles on the clock; the grain pops from all sorts of different angles. This really packs a lot of punch too; the classic Strat spank is beautifully present, but this has a particularly sweet clarity and snarl to the tone. It's supremely easy on the hands; you really feel the notes ringing through the body and the slim neck is a delight. This is a seriously nice player with a whole lot of tone, and as a bonus, it looks a whole lot different to everyone else's!

Cosmetic condition notes: mild finish wear. There's some minor dings around the body, and a pair of 20mm approx scratches on the back just up from the trem cover. There's some normal play wear on the guard and normal pitting of the gold hardware, everything works fine. Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: Action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electrics tested and working properly. Frets have some normal wear, but they're freshly polished with heaps of life, 8/10. Sweet!
