Fender '62 Reissue Tele, double bound candy apple red, made in Japan 2016. It's pretty hard not to drool over a double bound-Tele, and this is surely a good one. The double binding hits all those curves just right, it really makes the classic candy apple finish pop. Aside from being irresistibly stunning, this has a lot to offer. The previous owner has done a full upgrade on the electronics; all the deluxe parts lend some extra gig-ready robustness and some additional clarity to the tone. The alder body and Texas Special pickups dole out a whole stack of tone: bright, clear, thick, articulate and charming; it loves a bit of drive more than your average Tele. The slim 60s neck is excellent; you're never wrestling to get your best ideas out. It's unusual to get a Tele that's both sensibly upgraded and in basically-mint condition; so this is really quite the find. What a lovely girl!
