Fender '62 Reissue Tele in vintage white, made in Japan in 2014. This is shiny and beautiful and from 1ft away, it looks basically new. The creamy finish pops perfectly against the rosewood board, it's a classy classic combo. The sleek look is equally matched in tone: the alder body and US pickups deliver that perfect Tele-twang with a nice mix of body and bite and it really eats up open chords. The slim neck on this is perfect: it sits so easily in the hands, you never feel like you're working hard. The whole thing has an air of elegant understatement: this is a proper Tele that does exactly what you hope it will. Sweet!
