Fender '62 Stratocaster Black ST62-TX 2008
Fender '62 Strat, black and tort, made in Japan 2008. The black Strat has been the go-to for some pretty noteworthy players, it's surely quite the icon. This one is a twist on the classic look: the dark rosewood board, cream plastics and tort guard pop brilliantly against the sleek black lines; it's a beautiful item. The '62 neck profile is slim, round and naturally quick; it has a movie-star charisma and makes friends very quickly. The Texas Special pickups deliver a fairly hot, naturally compressed tone with a heap of natural bass and treble, perfect for gritty blues lead playing. The alder body adds a certain evenness and depth to the tone; this will easily take on far pricier USA made instruments for both tone and feel. Pair this with a tasty tube amp and enjoy it's many benefits.
