(SOLD) Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass AJB-65 Old Candy Apple Red 2007
Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass, old candy apple red, crafted in Japan 2006-8. The Aerodyne J is a certified Fender Japan classic; they always turn heads in the shop and are just just a great player's bass. The combo of a carved, bound top, matching headstock and metal top-hat knobs makes for a slick aesthetic. The neck is slim and finished in slick satin, which paired with the lightweight ergonomically friendly body, makes for an easy playing feel. The tone is a slightly more scooped and modern take on the classic Jazz punch. There's plenty of variation on offer via the P/J setup, it's a handy little combo. The red looks great in the flesh, it's spicy visual biscuit indeed. You can't lose, right?
