Fender Japan Aerodyne Jazz Bass, dolphin grey, made in Japan in 2012. The classic 'AJB' has got to be the one of the most famous and instantly recognisable models to come out of Fender's Japan operation... it's quite a world-beater. There's good reason for the wide-acclaim: the look superb, and they play so smoothly. This is a perfect little example of this quiet achiever. This one has one of the darkest rosewood boards we've ever seen, it's a very tasty piece and certainly adds to the classy feel of the super slim, quick neck. The dolphin grey finish looks awesome, it can look slightly green, blue or even black in certain lights, and it pops perfectly against the cream binding. The P/J pickup combo allows for a heap of tonal options; that classic vintage-modern Aerodyne sharpness and thump is a big winner for a lot of players. Sleek, smooth, classy, sassy; pick whatever superlative you want, you'll hear them all when you bring this one out to play!
