Fender Aerodyne Stratocaster Gun Metal Blue 2014

Sold out

Fender Aerodyne Strat, medium scale model in gun metal blue, made in Japan 2014. This is a smooth operator! The signature carved bound top of the Aerodyne series looks ace on a Strat; it's s a sleek and sexy item. The radius also means that it's super light: it's a really effortless in the hands owing to a skinny neck, light body and short scale. The 24.75" Gibson-style scale lends the guitar a slinky feel, so you can easily do big bends and quick runs, but it also darkens up the tone significantly. The normal borderline-too-bright Strat bridge pickup suddenly just works perfectly: it's growly, full and warm with plenty of sizzle and cut. These aren't being made anymore due to some changes in Fender Japan's operations, so grab one while they're around. Stealthy!
