Fender American Standard Telecaster Natural 2006
Fender American Standard Telecaster, made in USA 2006, natural finish. Fender kicked off operations as a proper company in 1946, so this has a little 60th diamond badge on the headstock to celebrate the occasion, although it's a Standard model not a limited run anniversary thing. It's a pretty classic take on the Tele: ash body, maple neck, two single coils... exactly what we came here for. The tone is chiming, full and warm, with plenty of glassy top end shimmer and a generous throaty bass. The neck is comfy, finished in slick satin and carved to an agreeable modern C; it doesn't make you work too hard. If you've got that classic T thing in mind, this will do the job.

Cosmetic condition notes: minor finish wear. The headstock has minor dimples on the en, bottom edge and front near the Fender logo. The neck is clean and smooth in the hands, minor rub wear on the back only. The back has minor scuffs on the horns and around the ferrules and some dimples near the jack. The sides have minor dimples in the elbow area and some scuffs near the jack and on the bottom horn. The front has dimples near the knobs and back edge and widespread minor surface scratches and scuffs around the whole body, as well as some play wear on the guard and horns.
Overall: very good condition (8/10)
Playing condition notes: action is low, neck is straight, intonation is good, truss rod works. All electronics tested and working properly. Wearing fresh 10/46 Moonshiners strings.
Fret life: 8/10, minor wear only
