Fender Bassman 135 Amplifier Head 1978
Fender Bassman 135 head, made in USA 1978. I'm a sucker for a Bassman, and this one is a fun and unusual one. It's the 135 watt model, which launched in 1978, with an ultra-linear output section and some extra EQ on the left channel. The extra headroom is awesome, especially for bass. It adds weight and punch through the low end, as well as plain good-old-fashioned volume. Into a big cab, it absolutely roars. It's great on guitar too, you can dial a gorgeous juicy sparkling clean that's delightful as-is or pairs perfectly with your overpriced, oversized pedalboard. These are a whole lot trickier to find than the regular 100 model, so if you're after a sweet first year 1978 thiccboii, here's your shot.
