Fender Classic Series 50s Stratocaster Sonic Blue 2010
Fender Classic 50s Strat, sonic blue, made in Mexico 2010. This is a smooth little slice of summery sweetness. The Classic Series was Fender's high end Mex made guitars; they are built to vintage specs with a lot of care and enjoyed a good reputation for many years. Sonic blue is a gorgeous finish, it absolutely pops against the golden maple board and creamy plastics; it's equal parts cute and classy. The classic Strat-spank is on tap; this is fairly bright and lively and has that sparkly attack that slices nicely through a mix. The soft-V neck is great if you're a thumb-overhanger, it's easy to get along with. Grab this, buy yourself an ice cream and go surfing... summer is coming!
